New car in India. Honda India is all geared to unfold its eagerly awaited small car Honda Brio and envisages to capture the small car segment with its hot quotient. Come October and this mini wagon will be available for the Indian customers. Honda India earlier failed to woo the small car lovers in India with Honda Jazz, however this time its small car Honda Brio has already created a hysteria long before its launch.
The Japanese auto biggie is expected to price this small car competitively and it is said that Honda Brio price will be somewhere between Rs4 to 5 lakh. The new small car from Honda India will come affixed with 1.2 litre 1-VTEC engine. Honda Brio will also adorn features like ABS ,airbags and will offer high fuel efficiency. With the help of this and other engine technologies, the car gives striking 14 kmpl in city and 20 kmpl at highway. A good figure to flaunt in Indian hatchback segment. The all new Honda Brio is likely to be fitted with 1.2-litre, 4 cylinder 16 valves, SOHC, i-VTEC petrol engine with 5 speed manual transmission and 4 Automatic transmission.
The top power delivery is 89 Bhp @ 6200 rpm and the peak torque of 110 Nm @ 4800 rpm is expected. Honda Brio about to introduce in India is expected to come with 15 inch steel wheels. However, the exact information about the tyre specification is not available. The wheelbase is kept at good level which is helpful in keeping a good control over the drive. Honda Brio is about to get its official launch in Indian markets and by now the company has not disclosed any exact information about the specifications, colors and features however we expect the company to introduce interesting colors and at the time photographs show beautiful grape green and pure silver color models. Honda had unveiled its small car concept the 2010 Auto Expo, and the company plans to launch this small car in India somewhere around in early 2011. This new small car will be smaller than four metres in length and will get Honda Jazz's 1.2-litre petrol engine to avail the duty cut.
